Slip (Millport) Journey time is 10 minutes, departing/arriving Largs Pier/Cumbrae Slip Millport is the only town on Cumbrae and the 10.5 mile circumference of the Island is perfect for cyclists - there is even a bike hire shop in the town. |

Wemyss Bay to Rothesay Wemyss Bay is 15 minutes from Largs by car, but McGill's Bus Company also provides a service which stops at Wemyss Bay train station (adjacent to ferry terminal). Gourock to Dunoon Gourock is 25 - 30 minutes from Largs by car, with McGill's Bus Company offering a Greenock service which goes via Gourock. Gourock can also be reached by train from Glasgow, but not from Largs. There are two points to catch a ferry to Dunoon in Gourock, one is adjacent to the train station in Gourock town centre, and the other is on the coast road into Gourock (coming from Largs), just beyond Lunderston Bay. Ardrossan to Brodick (Arran) Ardrossan is 20 minutes from Largs by car, but the hourly train service also stops at Ardrossan South Beach. However, you will need to take a bus/taxi to Ardrossan Harbour, or change trains at Ardrossan South Beach. Coming from Glasgow, there are direct trains to Ardrossan Harbour.
